Clare found the going tough against the defending All-Ireland champions today as Cork began their three-in-a-row quest in formidable fashion.
2-3 in injury time glossed up the scoreboard for the visitors in Sixmilebridge.
Clare responded to the concession of an early Katriona Mackey goal to trail by just by just 1-6 to 0-5 at half-time but a purple patch after the restart ensured Cork the win.
