Clare Camogie Face Crucial Meeting With Meath

It’s an important day for Clare’s senior camogie team as they play their second match in the All-Ireland championship.

Ger O’Connell’s charges are in Navan to take on Meath.

After their opening loss to Cork, it’s a must win game for the Banner if they are to keep their quarter-final ambitions intact.

Sarah Loughnane in goal;

A full back line of Ciara Grogan, Clare Hehir and Ciara Doyle;

Laura McMahon, Alannah Ryan and Teresa O’Keeffe are the half backs;

Amy Barrett partners Roisin Begley in midfield;

Sinead Conlon, Andrea O’Keeffe and Orlaith Duggan are on the 40;

And an inside line of Eimear Kelly, Mairead Scanlon and Fiona Lafferty.

Also in Group Two, Waterford host Dublin in Walsh Park at 4pm. And Cork entertain Tipperary at the CIT Grounds at 5pm.

Elsewhere, Offaly and Galway face each other in Lusmagh, and Kilkenny are in Bellefield, Enniscorthy to take on Wexford.

Both those games start at 5pm.
