Camogie Chairman Claims Annual Levy Will Ease Burden On Clubs

Clare’s camogie chairman insists the new annual levy will free up clubs to focus on their own development.

Delegates at last night’s Annual Convention voted 36-13 in favour of introducing a €12 levy for adult members and €6 for underage players.

The fee replaces all other contributions to the board with proceeds raised put into the county grounds in Fr. McNamara Park.

Joe O’Donnell says the one-off charge will ease the burden on clubs to raise money during the year.
