The Clare Senior Footballers have been dealt a major blow ahead of the 2020 inter-county season.
Clondegad’s Gary Brennan has informed members of the inter-county panel, including manager Colm Collins, that he will not be playing for his county next year.
The news, first reported by The Clare Champion and confirmed by Clare FM, will come as a significant blow to Clare as Brennan has been a leading player for the side over recent seasons.

Brennan captained Clare this year, has played for his country in the International Rules Series on two occasions, and was nominated for an All-Star in 2016.
