Football Championship Draw

The draw for the second round of the Clare Senior Football Championship has thrown up some interesting ties and a number of local derbies.

The stand-out tie sees Lissycasey take on neighbours Clondegad with a Quarter-Final place up for grabs.

Defending champions Cratloe take on Cooraclare for the second year running, while Doonbeg have been drawn against St. Joseph’s Doora-Barefield.

The final tie of the winners section sees St. Joseph’s Miltown go up against St Senans Kilkee.

In the losers section, Kilmurry Ibrickane will look to get their season back on track against Shannon Gaels, while Eire Óg take on Liscannor.

There's a North Clare derby as St Breckans take on Ennistymon, and a West Clare derby with Kilrush going up against O'Currys.

The ties will be played on the weekend of August 9th & 10th.
