Foley looks to use Leinster win as platform for season

Munster sit top of the Guinness Pro 12 table today, following their 28-13 defeat of Leinster at Thomond Park last night.

They led 11-6 at half time, thanks to a CJ Stander try and two Ian Keatley penalties.

Andrew Conway and David O'Callaghan crossed for tries in the second half.

The victory put a halt to Munster's 3-game losing run, and head coach Anthony Foley says it gives them a good platform for the rest of the season.

Ulster meanwhile are up to fourth following their narrow 13-10 win over Connacht at a sold-out Kingspan Stadium.

Today meanwhile, a bonus point for Ospreys at home to the Scarlets could be enought to see them replace Munster at the top of the table.

Glasgow also have an eye on the summit – they welcome Edinburgh to Scotstoun.
