Flannans Have What It Takes To Win Harty – Jamesie

The re-fixed Harty Cup final takes place this Saturday.

St Flannans College of Ennis will be in the competition’s decider for the first time since 2009 and face CBC of Cork, who have never won the prestigious competition.

Flannans, meanwhile, are the tournament’s most decorated entrant with 21 overall wins throughout the years.

The final was originally scheduled for two weeks ago but was postponed on the day due to bad conditions.

Former Clare All-Star Jamesie O’Connor is a teacher at St Flannans College and says that the change of date won’t be too daunting to the Flannans team:

That one gets underway in Mallow on Saturday at 1pm, and Clare FM will have full commentary in association with Limerick Institute of Technology.
