St Flannans’ footballers are in Corn Ui Mhuiri action this afternoon.

The Ennis secondary school are travelling to Limerick for a quarter final meeting with St Brendan’s of Killarney.

Flannans have won the Cup three times, most recently as 1995, but Flannans’ selector Benny Duggan says they’re not concerned with the past:

That one gets underway in Ballyagran at 1pm.

Elsewhere, in second-level football:

St Caimins Community School, Shannon meet St Clement’s College of Limerick in the Quarter Final of the U19’s D Cup.

Meanwhile, round 1 of the U15’s C Cup sees Scariff Community College playing Pallaskenry’s Salesian Secondary College.

And the U15 hurlers from Ennistymon Vocational School meet Desmond College, Gortboy in Round 1 of the E Cup.
