Ennis’ Barry Cotter is on the lookout for a new club after his release by Ipswich Town.

The full-back, who was the only Clare player plying his trade in the English Football League, has left the Tractor Boys after being told he would not be offered a new contract at the end of the season.

Cotter made just four senior appearances for the side since joining from Limerick in 2018, including his debut, which was former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy’s final game in charge of the club.
