Clare minor hurling boss Sean Doyle feels they paid the price for a poor refereeing decision late in their game against Tipperary in Semple Stadium.

The Banner lost out by 2-14 to 1-12 after conceding a late goal to the Premier.

Clare forward Keelan Guyler appeared to be fouled just minutes before that score when the game was still in the melting pot, but referee Mike Sexton didn’t award the free which would have been in a scoreable position.
