Finishing touches are being put to Doonbeg’s preparations for this Sunday’s Munster  football championship q-final against Stradbally in Dungarvan.

The Clare champions take on their Waterford counterparts in what is the Magpies first appearance in the provincial championship in 9 years.

Selector Declan Conway thinks Sunday could  come come down to a battle of freetakers.

The Waterford side have suffered heartbreak at the hands of Clare sides in recent years with defeats to Kilmurray Ibrickane  in the  2004 Munster final and most recently in 2009
