There was heartbreak for Eire Og and Banner ladies who both failed to emerge from their groups at the annunal Feile competition in Co.Kildare.
Both sides lost their final group games with left them in the runners up spots in their groups despite having won their first two games.
There was also disppointment for the Sixmilebridge U16 hurlers as they lost out in the All Ireland U16 invitational tournament held in Carlow over the weekend.

The Clare club made it all the way to the final after victories over teams from Kilkenny,Limerick,Laois and Wexford but lost out in the final to Cork outfit Blackrock by 1-4 to 3 points.
