Discussions To Be Held On New All Ireland Hurling Championship Format

The GAA President has confirmed plans are afoot to revamp the All-Ireland Hurling Championship.

There have been calls to increase the number of high-profile hurling ties following the introduction of the ‘Super 8’ stage in the football championship.

It’s believed the introduction of a round robin format in the Munster and Leinster Championship could be in place as early as next year.
