Clare’s ladies football team have lost out to Cavan this afternoon in the 3rd round of the National League Division 2.
After drawing with Kerry and Wexford, James Murrihy’s side were in search of their first victory to keep any semi-final hopes intact.
While Clare led throughout most of the game with two goals from Niamh O’ Dea, deep in the second half Cavan staged a dramatic comeback with a late unanswered 2-2.
