Clare handballer Diarmuid Nash has his sights set on becoming All-Ireland champion as the season heats up over the coming months.

The Scariff player’s victory in last week’s Gaffney Memorial Tournament in Ballaghderreen ensured his top eight ranking and automatic qualification to the Irish 4 Wall Nationals in February.

His 2019 continued in positive fashion this week when he was nominated for Male Player of the Year at the GAA Handball Awards.
