Diarmaid Nash is into the All-Ireland Senior Singles Handball Final after beating Kilkenny’s Patrick Funchion in straight sets.

The Tuamgraney man won 21-9 21-13 in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan.

Nash will face Westmeath’s Robbie McCarthy in next week’s final, the man who beat him in the 4-Wall competition last month.

Clare success continued last night with two more Munster titles.

Diarmaid’s sister, Clodagh Nash and Doireann Murphy beat Tipperary’s Sinead Meagher and Roisin Cahill for the Ladies Intermediate doubles title in three sets.

And Mark Rodgers and Mark Crehan combined to take the minor boys doubles crown from Cork pair Cian O’Driscoll and Colin Healy after a tie-break.
