The race for the Canon Hamilton Cup gets back underway this weekend.
It’s Round 1 of the Senior Hurling Championships with 8 games in all 4 groups getting underway tomorrow evening with the meeting of Smith O’Briens and Clooney/Quin in Meelick at 7:15pm.
On Saturday, Newmarket and Wolfetones meet in Clarecastle at 5 o’clock with 2 evening games fixed for 7:15pm
Ogonnelloe face Broadford in Scariff. Tubber are up against Clarecastle in Shannon.
There’s 4 games across Sunday. First up is Crusheen versus Corofin in Tubber at 1o’clock and there’s a double header at Sixmilebridge.
At 2 o’clock, it’s O’Callaghan’s Mills and Scariff. At 3:30 it’s Clonlara versus Tulla.
The weekend’s action wraps up in Clareabbey at 5:30 when St. Josephs’s Doora Barefield meet Ballyea.
