Daly Expecting Tactical All-Ireland Final

Clarecastle’s Anthony Daly is expecting a tactical battle in the upcoming All-Ireland Final between Clare and Cork.

Daly, who of course captained Clare to their most recent All Ireland titles in 1995 and 1997, says he hopes his county will end that 16 year wait for Liam McCarthy.

However, the current Dublin manager is expecting a close encounter between Clare and the team that ended his own hopes of appearing in this year’s All Ireland Final, and believes the Rebels will have learned much from seeing how Clare overcame Limerick in the last four.
