Daly Approached To Take Over Antrim Hurlers – Report

All Ireland winning Clare captain Anthony Daly is understood to be in the running to be named as the new Antrim hurling manager.

The Irish News reports that the Clarecastle man has been approached to take the role along with former Galway boss Anthony Cunningham.

Daly was in charge of the Kilmacud Crokes in Dublin this year who lost out in their county final after a replay against Ballyboden.

Saffrons legend Terence Sambo McNaughton stood down from the job in recent weeks while he was also assisted in 2018 by new Tipperary boss Liam Sheedy.
