Crusheen celebrate County win

Crusheen manager Michael Browne has credited his  sides hunger and work rate as being  crucial to yesterday first ever county final win..

Crusheen staged a remarable second half perfroamnce to outscore the defending champions Cratloe  1-7 to 6 points which helped secure the Canon hamilton trophy for the very first time.

Browne said his side were detrmined not to suffer another county final defeat:


Goalkeeper Donal Tuohy  can now add a county title to his Fitzgibon cup medal as wel as  the All Ireland U21 medal  he won with Clare in 2009 .

He felt that Paddy Meaney’s introduction  was crucial to the win:

For full back Cronan Dillion the post match feeling was in marked contrast to the scenes in the Crsuheen dressing room following their 2007 defeat to Tulla.
