Cratloe have received a boost ahead of their Munster club semi final with Ballygunner by being named club of the year at the annunal Munster Gaa wards last night.
The club were honoured for having claimed the Clare senior hurling title as well as the u21 football and intermediate crowns in 2009.
The South East Clare side travel to Waterford this Sunday in their first ever Munster club game aganst the Waterford champions.

Elsewhere it was also a good night for Clare’s Darach Honan as he was named Under 21 Hurling Player of the championship while Clare legend Seamus Durack was inducted into the hurling hall of fame.
The Awards will be presented at a Gala Banquet in Lawlors Hotel, Dungarvan on Saturday December 5th next.
