Clare’s Eimear Considine has missed the cut for tomorrow’s clash with Japan in the Women’s Rugby World Cup.

The Kilmihil woman lined out on the wing of the side that beat Australia 19-17 in a tight, six try clash with the Wallabies at the UCD Bowl on Wednesday.

Manager Tom Tierney made seven changes and two positional swaps from Wednesday’s squad, and said it was done with a view to resting some players after the highly physical encounter.
