Clare’s Football Boss says their win over Cavan was a much needed improvement in form.
Cavan had been expected to beat the visiting Clare side, as the Breffni sat atop the Division 2 table while the Banner struggle to clear the relegation fight.
Clare stormed to a six point half time lead and successfully defended a vicious counterattack from the home side in the second half to scrape a two point win.
