Clare’s senior football manager says he would be in favour of the National League format essentially being moved into the All Ireland series.

The Fixture Calendar Review Task Force will table two motions at next week’s GAA Congress on the future structure of the championship, with the third option being to maintain the current format.

The first option would see provincial competitions played off in their own right before the league becomes a qualifier tournament for a two tier All Ireland Championship.
