Collins out of All Ireland final with shoulder injury

The Clare  U21 hurling side have been dealt a major  blow with the news that Sean Collins will miss the All Ireland final with a shoulder injury picked up in championship action over the weekend.

The Cratloe man was injured during his sides Intermediate championhip win over St Breckan’s on Sunday evening and has been ruled out of the clash with Kilkenny later this month.

Cathal Chaplain is also on the injured list as he recovers from a broken finger received  in the semi  final win over Galway 2 weeks ago.

There are also doubts surrounding the fitness of Darach Honan and  Colin Ryan with both players suffering from hamstring trouble but its expected both will be fit for the final in Croke Park on the 13th of September.
