Cleary Says Clare Have Good Chance Against Rossies Despite Tough Competition

Clare’s Football Captain says Roscommon will provide a tough challenge, but can be beaten.

St Joseph’s Miltown Clubman Eoin Cleary was speaking ahead of this Sunday’s Round 3 clash away to the Rossies – where he’ll be hoping to continue his side’s winning streak after sending Kildare home defeated last time out.

The Banner haven’t met Roscommon since they took a seven point victory over Clare during the 2018 League campaign.

However, Cleary says that if Clare perform as strongly as they last weekend they stand a good chance of victory on Sunday:

Clare FM has live commentary of that one this Sunday in association with Jones’ Supervalu Miltown Malbay and Tubridy’s Bar and Restaurant Doonbeg.

For those who are travelling to watch the game live, supporters are being warned that the Roscommon election count centre is the Dr Hyde Centre – so match traffic will be blocked via the Athlone Road side and to approach instead via the Golf Links Road.

They’re also encouraging supporters to allow an extra fifteen minutes travel time to account for associated delays.
