Clare’s Eoin Cleary is confident the squad haven’t been distracted by off field matters as they go in search of two crucial National League points on Sunday.
The Banner make the trip to Newry to take on Down but will be without Jamie Malone as he serves a two match ban, but no decision has been made on a proposed 3 month ban for veteran defender Gordon Kelly.
It’s expected an update to that will be issued today but it’s understood Kelly has been included in Clare’s match-day 26 which had be submitted yesterday morning.
