Clare’s Derek O’Connor will be hoping to capture one of National Hunt racing’s biggest prizes this afternoon.
The Tubber man will be part of an 18 strong field for the main event of the Cheltenham Festival, the Gold Cup.
He’s aboard the Joseph O’Brien trained Edwulf as they bid to make it a historic double after victory in the Irish Gold Cup earlier this year.
