CLARE vs WATERFORD – THE BUILD UP!!!

Clare’s senior hurlers are in quarter-final action today in the National Hurling League.

The Banner travel to Walsh Park to face Waterford with the winners qualifying for next week’s semi-finals.

There must be a winner on the day with two periods of extra-time and possibly penalties set to be used to separate the teams.

Clare Joint Senior Hurling Managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O’Connor have made five changes from the side that drew with Limerick for Saturday’s National Hurling League quarter-final against Waterford.

O’Connor says they will gain some insight into travelling arrangements even if the hurling conditions will be different.
