Clare Senior Hurling Championship Decider Today

Sixmilebridge and O Callaghans Mills are 70 minutes away from lifting the Canon Hamilton trophy at Cusack Park.

The two sides meet later this afternoon in the Senior Hurling final, with the Mills attempting to win a senior county title for the first time in over 80 years.

The Bridge meanwhile will be attempting to win back-to-back county titles for the first time since 1993.

Bridge manager Tim Crowe is happy with his side coming into the game after they edged out Eire Og in the last four.

It’s been quite the turnaround in Donach O Donnell’s first campaign managing O Callaghans Mills, as they narrowly avoided relegation to Intermediate level last year.

They’ve taken the scalps of Broadford, Crusheen, Inagh-Kilnamona and Ballyea so far.

Captain Bryan Donnellan says they’re treating this afternoon as just another day at the office.
