Clare Remain Unbeaten In National Hurling League After Beating Cork

Clare have maintained their unbeaten record in the 2018 National Hurling League

The Banner beat Cork in Cusack Park winning by 0-23 to 0-19.

They led throughout the game with a dominant opening half seeing them lead by 0-16 to 0-5 at the break with 9 different scorers on target.

That trend continued after the break and although Patrick Horgan’s frees kept the Rebels in touch, they never closed to within more than four points of Clare.

It means the Banner are now guaranteed a spot in the quarter finals ahead of the final two rounds against Wexford and Waterford over the next two weekends.
