Clare Players Ready For Limerick Challenge

Clare senior hurling manager Brian Lohan says his players are acutely aware that they have an opportunity to give a lift to in this year Championship.

The competition kicks off on Sunday with the clash against Limerick, a team that Lohan has described as “one of the top teams in the country.”

However, ahead of his first game in charge of his native county, the former Hurler of the Year says his players are ready to stand up to the challenge, and to give their all for Clare.

The manager of the Limerick squad says they’ve been impacted by some injuries, but all in all they’re not faring any worse than any other team.
