Clare must beat Waterford this Sunday in the Munster Hurling League if they wish to advance to the competition’s final.

The Deise were 1-24 to 1-18 winners over Cork in Mallow on Wednesday evening putting them joint top of Group 2 with the Banner.

However, Padraic Fanning’s men have an advantage as their +6 scoring difference is superior to Clare’s and a draw will sent them into the decider.
