Clare LGFA Chair ‘Would Welcome’ Amalgamation With Camogie & GAA

Clare’s LGFA Chair has added his voice to the potential amalgamation of all three Gaelic Games associations down the line.

Intercounty players from both the GPA and WGPA – including in this county – voted to come together as one body last month, leading to suggestions that administrative organisations may be a step closer to doing the same.

St Joseph’s Doora Barefield club man Sean Lenihan took over as Clare LGFA Chair before Christmas, replacing David O Brien.
