Clare’s Senior Camogie squad have opened their Championship campaign with defeat to Galway.
The Banner ladies made the trip to Galway’s Pearse Stadium to face the Tribeswomen in the opener to the Galway/Dublin Hurling clash.
Trish O’Grady’s side conceded a goal within the first minute and struggled to keep Galway within reach for the duration of the game.
