Clare’s under 15 handballers are the All-Ireland champions.

They beat the hosts Wexford yesterday in the All-Ireland semi-final by 75 points to 68.

And they continued that form into the final prevailing over Galway by 80 points to 41 to take national honours.

At senior level, there was mixed results in the All-Ireland doubles quarter-finals.

Diarmaid Nash and Colin Crehan qualified for the next phase after a straight sets 21-18 21-16 win over Cork’s Brendan Fleming and Tony Healy.

But it was disappointment for Clodagh Nash and Doireann Murphy who went down in three sets to Kildare’s Leah Doyle and Mollie Dagg.
