Clare GAA Executive Elected For 2018

There will be a much changed executive for Clare GAA in 2018.

Last nights convention saw all bar one position filled at the top table

A new president was appointed with Padraig McMathuna of Eire Og taking over from Tadhg Murphy.

Joe Cooney continues as chairman with PJ McGuane as his assistant.

Ann Hayes of Lissycasey is the new assistant secretary, while Doonbegs Michael Gallagher takes over from Bernard Keane as treasurer with Tony Brohan as his assistant.

No PRO was appointed after both candidates withdrew, with nominations invited to be considered at the first meeting of the New Year.

Rosaleen Monahan of Tubber is the new Development Officer with Bodyke’s Sean O’Halloran appointed as Coaching and Games Officer.

Team managements were also ratified for the coming year, with Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Enda Coughlan linking up with Colm Collins senior football backroom team
