The Chair of Clare GAA has labelled the decision not to increase numbers allowed at outdoor gatherings as ‘disappointing’.

It had been expected that numbers would increase to 500 from next week, which would allow more spectators to gather at matches, but the Government has confirmed that outdoor gatherings will continue to be restricted to 200 people.

Joe Cooney says the safety of players and spectators comes first and he’s reassuring that the county board will continue to host matches behind closed doors.
