Clare Football Championship Countdown Nearly Over

Last year's beaten finalists in the Clare Senior Football Championship say they're determined to go one better this time around.

Meanwhile, 2013 saw Ennistymon reach the Quarter-Finals, where they were beaten by Lissycasey.

They also struggled in this year's League, suffering relegation from the Cusack Cup but manager Brendan Rouine is hoping Championship helps turn their fortunes around.

Elsewhere, Galway football manager Alan Mulholland has responded to his side's heavy Connacht final loss to Mayo by making several changes to his side, although there's no place in the attack for Sean Armstrong.
