Banner Ladies and Kilmihil go head to head in the 2018 Clare LGFA Senior Final on Sunday.
It’s the third year in a row these sides have met in the decider with the Banner looking to secure their 8th consecutive title.
Captain for 2018 is Louise Henchy, she’s been telling us they had the perfect warm up in claiming back to back All Ireland 7’s titles last weekend.
Kilmihil will be without one of their star players on Sunday as Ailish Considine heads for Australia to try out for a professional Women’s Aussie Rules contract.
They do have plenty county experience in their ranks with the likes of Catriona Callinan and Ellie O’Gorman likely to be central to their bid to topple the champions.
Selector Kevin Callinan says a huge task lies ahead.
They meet in Kilrush on Sunday with a 3.15pm start.
The intermediate title is also up for grabs with Cooraclare and St Josephs Doora Barefield getting the days action underway at 1.30pm.
