Clare’s Ladies Footballers had to settle for a share of the points from their meeting with Meath today.
Clare were hunting their first League win of the year after three defeats from three to Armagh, Monaghan and Tyrone.
Meath took a two point half time lead which left the home side with the work to do in the second half.
Their challenge was extended when Meath knocked in two quick fire goals to leave Clare eight points behind with fifteen minutes left.
Amy Sexton and Roisin Considine accepted the challenge and fired in two Clare goals, before two Grainne Nolan points left the sides level on the full time whistle.
Final score in Doonbeg was Clare 3-12, Meath 3-12.
