Clare Bow Out To Waterford In All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship

Despite a tough fought match and staying neck and neck throughout, Clare have lost to Waterford in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Finals.

Two early goals for the Déise set the pace for the game, within 20 minutes Clare had matched them but Waterford pushed on to lead by another goal at half-time.

Aron Shanagher and Tony Kelly were standout performers for the Banner with Shanagher scoring 2 goals and a point for Clare and Kelly scoring 8 points.

Waterford will now face Kilkenny in the Semi-Finals.

3-18 to 3-27 was the score as the final whistle blew.
