Clare Beaten In Weekend All-Ireland Minor Camogie Final

Saturday afternoon saw Clare go in search of their first ever All-Ireland Minor Camogie Title.

While Clare trailed throughout, they did hold the deficit to 2 points at half-time. However, they were no match for a dominant Galway side in the second half in McDonagh Park in Nenagh.

In the second half, Clare could not manage a single score, with Galway beating Clare very convincingly on a final score of 4-13 to 6 points.

Following the game, coach Eugene Foudy spoke to Syl O’Connor and said that a structure needs to be put in place at underage, to compete at this level.
