It’s claimed other senior hurling teams will have to step up in 2021 to stop Sixmilebridge in their quest for three Canon Hamiltons in a row.

The Bridge claimed back-to-back trophies for the first time in 27 years over the weekend, seeing off the challenge of a gallant O Callaghans Mills at Cusack Park.

Remarkably, Tim Crowe’s men won the title without registering a single goal throughout the competition.
