Clare Camogie’s incoming secretary has called on the national association to ensure the Banner’s junior side can resume intercounty competition next year.

Clare’s second string side were removed from competition earlier this year following a decision made by the Camogie Association to only allow one side per county in championship competition due to COVID-19.

Just four sides subsequently took part in this year’s junior competition, with Armagh being crowned champions earlier this month.
