A member of Broadford’s under 21 hurling management team insists they focused on encouraging their players to seize the opportunity ahead of the replay.

After being denied by two late scores eight days earlier, they finally clinched a first county B title in 14 years against Newmarket-on-Fergus.

Broadford were 1-16 to 1-12 victors taking advantage of the elements in the second half to pull clear.
