Ennis boxer Martin Sweeney is an All-Ireland champion after beating Enniscorthy’s Dean Cox 3-2 at Dublin’s National Stadium to take the 65kg title.
It was mixed fortunes for the club as Martin K Sweeney came up short in the 59kg final against Fr. Flanagan’s Glen McStay.
John and Michael Sweeney will hope to add to their success today in their respective finals.
