Next into battle was KBC & Panthers which went Panthers way in a fine display of some great basketball – KBC left with one win & one loss with some homework for the next visit. Panthers and Comets then had to meet – this was a much closer event and a very tough, tight game with Panthers coming out on top.

Panthers heading home with 2 for 2 and league table toppers. Shannon Jets up next to play Bluestars and came away with a win for the boys from Shannon – Jets next game was against Cascaders which saw the boys from Ennistymon come away with a win – a good high scoring game.

The Cascaders went on then to win their match against Bluestars too which has them top of the table with Panthers.

Sunday 12th Oct. 2019 was all about the U14 Girls CABB League – not all teams played today due to other sporting commitments but those that did put everything into it…league opened with a Bluestars vs KBC Glas – Cooraclare v Kilrush local derby!!

After a nervous start the game settled in and the girls from Cooraclare took the win in the end by 5 points –Next was KBC up again straight away to face Cascaders and again KBC Glas came up short by 3 points – great play by all and again lessons learned by all teams. Bluestars & Cascaders were back on the court again but this time against Comets T1.

It was then the turn of the Comets & KBC second teams – Comets T2 & KBC Ban to play with the girls from Kilrush taken a good win under the guidance of KBC U18 player Emma Howard, Coach Trea Heapes & Manager Tara Flynn. KBC Ban then played Quin’s Abbey Laker girls – and again won but a very close match this time only winning by a single point.
