Clare’s Ladies Footballers are into the semi-final of Division 2 of the National League.
They’ve beaten Sligo 3-14 to 2-9.
The game was a tightly-fought affair in the first half, with Clare’s goal from play coming from Grainne Nolan.

Sligo scored a goal of their own just before the break to make it 1-6 to 1-5 at half-time.
Sligo even took the lead in the second half, scoring a second goal to go four points ahead, but Clare would fight back.
Ailish Considine and Niamh O’Dea both goaled and these scores, along with a flurry of points, gave Clare the eight-point win and secured a semi-final spot for the second straight season.
