In local soccer, Avenue United B will face Newmarket Celtic in the Banner Carpets and Flooring Clare Cup final on Sunday.
The Ennis side saw off Sporting Ennistymon 3-1 last night in their semi final clash thanks to a Tomas Hehir hat trick.
Newmarket overcame Avenue’s A side 4-0 in the other semi final earlier this week – they will be chasing their ninth Clare Cup in a row in the final.
